I like to edit videos with video clips from boating and jet skiing so it has to have clear video and i would like to try shooting video underwater a little. I like small compact digital cameras that are the square hold not the camcorder flip out style. I don’t want to spend more than $300. What’s the best camera for me?

Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP Waterproof Digital

12.1-megapixel CCD captures enough detail for photo-quality poster-size prints
Waterproof to 33 feet, cold resistant from 14-104 degrees (F) and shockproof up to 4 feet

I would recommend the GoPro Helmet Hero Wide, it’s fully waterproof to 30m due to the casing that is provided with it and you can take nearly an hour of video footage plus loads of 5 megapixel photos on a 2Gb SD card.
This particular model is also great because of it’s extra wide angled lens so you get a wider view in your videos.
